Research
I am an active researcher in the field of Media and cinema studies. My research focuses broadly on Arab Cinema, and more particularly on the intricate relation between the modes of production and the discourses of Arab films. I have published several articles and book chapters about this topic in French and English. I have also participated in and organized several academic conferences in France, Lebanon, Portugal and Armenia. Moreover, I am a film practitioner and I see my filmmaking practice as an extension of my research activity.
