Teaching and Educational Contributions
Prof. Sherine's teaching style focuses on the theme of "active" and "continuous" learning. She also believes that participation in national and international competitions increases students' knowledge and motivates them to learn. As a lecturer, she encourages and supports her students to expand their intellectual abilities and skills and improve their analytical skills by assigning them more advanced and professional tasks. Involving students in various co-curricular activities is crucial as Prof. Sherine believes that co-curricular activities have a great impact on teaching and learning: e.g., field trips, participating in workshops inside and outside ADU, organizing conferences, participating in national competitions, attending information sessions and seminars, and going on study trips abroad.
In addition, Prof. Sherine believes that using technology is essential and important to the educational process.  For this reason, she uses PowerPoint presentations and short videos in all her lectures.  She also instructs students to use Excel in their assignments, and encourages them to use the Internet for group assignments and presentations. Other invaluable resources the Wiley Plus E Book and other e-books because they are very interactive tools that help students to acquire knowledge easily.  Prof. Sherine also firmly believes in the great impact of study abroad trips on student learning!

Finally, linking the Accounting program to professional certifications is an important aspect that adds value to ADU/COBA programs. From this perspective, the Accounting curriculum has been aligned with the most prestigious international professional certifications such as CIMA, CMA, ACCA and several MOUs have been signed in this regard.

Undergraduate courses taught: Principles of Financial Accounting, Intermediate Accounting, Principles of Cost Accounting, Managerial Accounting, Advanced Financial Accounting, Cost Accounting, International Accounting, Accounting Information System, supervision of final projects, and internships in accounting.

Postgraduate courses taught: Fundamentals of Financial Accounting and Advanced Managerial Accounting.

Accounting course instruction includes many interactive and collaborative activities, e.g., group discussions / presentations / projects.
